SME Innovation Projects (INNOVA-CV)

VULKAN SYSTEMS, S.L. has carried out the project titled “Development of an integrated, automated visual detection system adapted to confined spaces for efficient identification in casinos and gaming halls,” funded by the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE) under the SME INNOVATION PROJECTS (INNOVA-CV) Grant Program, specifically the InnovaPROD Innovation initiative. This project is co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, with a grant totaling €23,090.85.

The objective is to develop an automated access control system tailored for confined spaces, as a continuation of the previous project titled "Development of an innovative, fully automated access control system." Based on biometric technology, the system aims to provide autonomous, digitized, and highly reliable access control without the need for human intervention, ensuring unequivocal identity verification in spaces where the installation of the original version is unfeasible. To achieve this, it will be necessary to design a new technological and support infrastructure, involving a hardware restructure, component reduction, and a redesign of the physical enclosure. Furthermore, the software must be adapted to maintain the functionalities and security levels offered by the original version.
