NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL OPERATORS SHOW STRONG INTEREST IN VULKAN SYSTEMS' KRAKEN ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM

Vulkan Systems features a new control system that has strongly captured the attention of the audience at ICE Barcelona. This interest comes from both Spanish operators and international markets alike. The system is called Kraken.

Kraken is ideal for narrow entrances and venues with limited floor space. It maintains the same core functionalities as the Hydra system but includes high-value additions.

Both Kraken and Hydra allow for access without prior registration. The user simply presents their ID or passport; the system scans the document and subsequently verifies if the face matches the photo on the ID. Simultaneously, a snapshot of the customer’s face—compared against their ID—is sent to the staff's notification watch to confirm or deny access.

Additionally, Kraken provides notifications for entry file updates. It can include a "Blacklist" for customers denied entry for various reasons and generates a complete log of all accesses. "Registered individuals appear instantaneously on the notification watches worn by the staff," Vulkan Systems highlights. Kraken also enables the recording of customer insights—such as tastes, preferences, habits, and play hours—and records entry videos that remain available for up to 30 days.

Kraken also serves as a "clock-in" system for employees to record the start and end of their shifts. This is managed via code rather than biometrics, as per current legal requirements. "Ultimately, Kraken automates the entire entry operation of the venue," Vulkan Systems emphasizes.

A state-of-the-art control system with extensive functionality, ideal for all types of gaming halls.
